Module 2 - Introduction Level
Aim:
To continue examining the process of using calculations in an independent Excel spreadsheet and how to identify and make use of named cell references in formulae. To enhance printing using various techniques.
Duration:
Half a day (9:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm).
Who Should Attend:
Those who previously attended Microsoft Excel Stage 1 or delegates who are familiar with creating and using a spreadsheet but would like to learn more about calculations, cell reference shortcuts and printing.
Course Content:
● Revision - Creating a spreadsheet using shortcuts to calculate and format data.
● Printing - Using Print Preview to view the finished chart and add additional information to the page before sending it to print.
● Cell References - Learn the difference between Relative and Absolute cell references and where each would be used.
● Named Ranges - Work with named cells or ranges to identify references in formulas quickly and easily and look at best practice solutions when using naming.
● Calculations - Learn the principles for calculating data using several mathematical operators (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
