Module 2 - Intermediate Level
Aim:
To build upon the delegates' existing knowledge of Word so that they are able to produce the documents needed for their day-to-day work.
Duration:
Half a day (9:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm).
Who Should Attend:
Those who previously attended Word Module 1 or are very familiar with editing and formatting text.
Course Content:
● Using Document Views - Changing the views of the Word screen to suit the work you are carrying out (Normal and Print Layout view), and adjusting the screen magnification.
● Paragraph Formatting - Altering paragraph alignment and line spacing, using indentation, creating a bulleted and numbered list.
● Tabs - Working with columns by creating custom tab stops and how to use with text and numbers.
● Using AutoText - Storing frequently used paragraphs of text and adding them to a document quickly. Using Word's AutoText entries and creating new ones.
● Page Setup - Changing the margins, orientation and page size of a document. Vertical Alignment options.
