'Brochure Style' is simply the term used to refer to a static or HTML website. If you don't intend to sell online nor have the requirement to make changes to your website yourself then this is the type of website for you.
Brochure style websites are normally a showcase of your company's products and services and are generally updated only once or twice a year by your web designer. If you need to update more often or need to perform changes in-house you should consider a Content Management System (CMS).
If you think you may want to sell online at a later date you should consider building your site as an E-commerce website now, but configured to use as brochure style until you're ready to start selling. This can often be a much cheaper route in the long run.
